The November 24 - 25, 2004 Sectoral Follow-up Session on Housing was the fourth in a series of sectoral specific sessions intended to fulfil the commitment made by Prime Minister Paul Martin at the conclusion of the April 19, 2004 Canada-Aboriginal Peoples Roundtable.

The intent of the Sectoral Follow-up Sessions was to explore new and innovative ideas through which the Government of Canada, national aboriginal organizations, provincial and territorial governments can work together in order to close the quality-of-life gap between Aboriginal peoples and all Canadians.

An independent team of facilitators, responsible for facilitating the session, prepared reports based on the flip chart notes of the discussions.
