Housing Sectoral Follow-up SessionThe November 24 - 25, 2004 Sectoral Follow-up Session on Housing was the fourth in a series of sectoral specific sessions intended to fulfil the commitment made by Prime Minister Paul Martin at the conclusion of the April 19, 2004 Canada-Aboriginal Peoples Roundtable. The intent of the Sectoral Follow-up Sessions was to explore new and innovative ideas through which the Government of Canada, national aboriginal organizations, provincial and territorial governments can work together in order to close the quality-of-life gap between Aboriginal peoples and all Canadians. The listing below reflects the information products stemming from the Housing Sectoral Follow-up Session. The background papers were prepared in advance of the session by members of the planning committee. An independent team of facilitators, responsible for facilitating the session, prepared reports based on the flip chart notes of the discussions.
The documentation contained on this website does not necessarily represent the views of any government or National Aboriginal Organization. The purpose of this website is to share information related to the Canada-Aboriginal Peoples Roundtable: background papers, Facilitator's sectoral and final reports, agendas and media announcements. |
