Life Long Learning Sectoral Follow-Up Session (2):
Post-Secondary Education and Skills Training
The November 13-14, 2004 Sectoral Follow-up Session on Life Long Learning (Early Childhood Development, Kindergarten to Grade 12) and November 18-19, 2004 Sectoral Follow-up Session on Life Long Learning (Post-Secondary Education and Skills Training) were a two-part series of sectoral specific sessions intended to fulfill the commitment made by Prime Minister Paul Martin at the conclusion of the April 19, 2004 Canada-Aboriginal Peoples Roundtable.
The intent of the Sectoral Follow-up Sessions was to explore new and innovative ideas through which the Government of Canada, national aboriginal organizations, provincial and territorial governments can work together in order to close the quality-of-life gap between Aboriginal peoples and all Canadians.
The listing below reflects the information products stemming from the two Lifelong Learning Sectoral Follow-up Sessions. The background papers were prepared in advance of the session by members of the planning committee.
